The Cheltenham Literature Festival took place this year as a hybrid event.  We find out how they did and, what the challenges were and what they learnt

Helena joined Cheltenham Festivals in February 2006 on a part-time basis to provide administrative support during the early stages of Cheltenham Festival’s independence from Cheltenham Borough Council (CBC).

Helena soon took on sole responsibility for all HR as the Charity grew rapidly over the next 8 years gaining membership of the CIPD along the way. In early 2012 Helena took on the role of General Manager as part of the Senior Management Team with responsibilities including heading up the Operations team, overseeing HR and IT resource and Clerk to the Board of Trustees.

Helena’s first career was in classical music where she spent 6 years working for Harrison/Parrott Ltd in London an International Artists Management agency supporting individual musicians including Ashkenazy, Evelyn Glennie and Stephen Hough.
